Latisse is the first and only drug of its kind, FDA approved for hypotrichosis, or the undergrowth of the eyelashes. It was originally developed over 15 years ago to be used as a topical eyedrop for cataracts. After 2 months, however, you should notice that your eyelashes are fuller and longer than before. You will see the full effect of Latisse at 16 weeks. Common side effects may include redness or mild itching of the eyes. Most people have found that this resolves after they became accustomed to using the product.
